It’s so small and light weight. Great for traveling. It picks up wifi easily. I check email, surf the web, and look at movies. Screen and keyboard are small for working for long periods. It’s a good price and gets the job done.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-Inch tablet pc has not disappointed me at all. It is so thin and light it’s hard to imagine there is a dual core processor, somehow magically sandwiched between the battery and the screen. The gmail app is fantastic, web browsing looks great and it’s an all around good solid product. Honeycomb works great and looks great, and this tab is a lot of fun to use. Here’s the cool part.
Because my phone was already an Android device and I had a Google account, when I set up the GT10.1 it immediately and automatically synced, downloaded and installed almost all of the apps that are on my phone. Memory: I bought the 32G version, just to have plenty of memory down the road.
Pros:
- Display is awesome and overall hardware is very very good.(thin, light, sexy)
- Its an android
- Battery life is stupendous.
- Stereo speakers. This was actually a surprise for me. It has speakers that flank the left and right sides (when held in landscape mode)
Cons:
- Honeycomb 3.1 OS overall is not as smooth as iOS. But, I will take this not-so-smooth honeycomb over iOS any day. iOS is boring.
- no storage card slot, no usb slot

ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1018P cheap netbook is an amazing 10.1-inch netbook. This netbook is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter and Microsoft Office Starter. The hardware specs are nothing special. Par for the netbook course, really. With the right software, the 1018P can easily be a robust daily computing solution. All in all, this is the perfect little netbook for a computer hobbyist like me.

Acer AS1551-4650 11.6-inch cheap netbook has HDMI, dual processor, full Windows 7 etc. The HDMI port is a blessing when I want to watch free TV over the internet. its faster than most netbooks at this price range, battery seems to last ok, about 3-4 hrs on power saving mode. Overall I’m really happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone, that is unless you’re doing heavy gaming or video processing. Great little guy for on the go basics and you can’t beat the price.

Acer Aspire AO532h is a great netbook – well designed and extremely light, and cheap. As a web browser or word processor its performance is excellent. It’s compact, lightweight (2.6 lbs), has wireless for internet, a good size screen for viewing photos, a big drive (160 GB) for storage, an 8-hour battery, and a media card slot to download photos from the camera. A highly adjustable angle provides good screen viewing. Keys are 93% the size of a full keyboard and quite comfortable. The Acer has 1 GB of RAM expandable to 2 GB ($48).

Asus Eee PC 1001P-MU17 10.1-Inch Netbook Pros:
- It is more than adequate for most computing tasks short of video editing.
- The keyboard is great. It is 92-93% of a regular-sized keyboard
- The Super Hybrid Engine feature is great. It seems to me that is exclusive to Asus.
- The Battery — Easily lasts at least nine hours, sometimes more if I have it in Power Saver mode.
- The LCD –This one comes with the matte LCD style. I thought it would be less sharper or poorer viewing angles, but it seems sharp enough for me.
- No fingerprints. Seriously, the finish on this thing attracts very few fingerprints. The finish is a lot better than the gloss finish on most netbooks. I really like design of this netbook.
- Quiet — Even on high performance the fan is really quiet.
- Windows 7 — I came from XP to this 7 starter, and I have no complaints. It is sleek, simple, and intuitive. I feel no need to upgrade to Home Premium.
Cons:
- Fn numeric keys are hard to use
- touch pad buttons are always stiff
So, in closing, you get what you pay for. It’s met our expectations, and knowing what we know, we’d buy this again. Good value, great battery life, light and easy to carry, does the job we wanted it to.

Asus Eee PC 1005HA 10.1-inch netbook Pros:
- Keyboard is smaller but acceptably easy to use
- Size is great: about the size of a hardcover novel.
- Windows 7 Starter is adequate
- Great battery life, not 10.5 hours as claimed but definitely 7-8 hours of regular use.
- It’s small and easy to use. The keyboard and trackpad work
Cons:
- 1GB RAM is not enough, and this computer is significantly slower than my regular computer.
Review:
It functions as it’s supposed to, it’s on the leading edge of technology in it’s price range, it is very robust for its size and it’s a real value price wise. And it looks good too. It’s prompted several nice comments from people who have seen me with it. My initial impression is it’s a very good buy.
